Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Gram flour 1 cup


  • All purpose flour 1 cup


  • Cumin 2 teaspoon


  • Fennel 2 teaspoon


  • Cloves 6-7


  • Sesame seed 2 teaspoon


  • Green cardamom 2


  • Coriander seeds 2 tsp


  • Red chilly powder 1 teaspoon


  • Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon


  • Dried mango powder 1 teaspoon


  • Powdered sugar (optional) 2 teaspoon


  • Asafoetida1 tsp


  • Oil 2 cup for deep fry and 3 teaspoon for other uses

Directions

  • Take all purpose flour in a bowl
  • Add 2 teaspoon oil and and 1tsp salt mix well
  • Add some water, knead it and make some stiff dough
  • Cover it and set aside for 20-30 minutes
  • Head 1tsp oil in a non stick pan on low medium flame
  • Add asafoetida stir till light brown
  • Add asafoetida stir till light brown
  • Roast it for 1-2, minutes or till it color changed
  • Let keep it aside
  • Add coriander seeds, cumin, fennel, sesame seeds and green cardamom in a non stick pan and roast it for 2-4 minutes
  • Let it cool and grind with turmerik, dried mango powder and red chilly powder
  • Add whole grind masale in roasted garam flour.... add salt and mix it well...you can add powdered sugar and powdered garlic optionally
  • Take dough.. supprate in 3 equal parts
  • Roll dough..apply water with a brush and spread roasted gram flour masala mix
  • Make a roll with soft hand.
  • Cut in pieces
  • Set with fingers
  • Heat oil on medium flame and fry it till light golden brown on medium flame
  • Bhakharwadi is ready
  • Let it cool
  • Store in a air tight jar for 1 month
